its a beautiful sunday and here i am, in my room, all alone, enjoying the peace of the weekend.

woke up to an empty house today; mum went to aunt's place for mahjong, sis went out (to date or work) and boy's at SIM for revision class.

felt weird at first as Sundays are the only days where the whole family is at home.

bathed and had food, then sat in my room, with the sunlight coming in through my windows, surfing net and enjoying the scene outside.

nothing much, jus blue sky, white clouds, roof of HDB flats and birds flying, no difference from everyday scene, yet today, it was quiet.

no annoying horns and engines of cars, no irritating kids shouting at each other...

ahhhhh... jus my radio playing songs..

feel so much like melbourne, the room back in Bundoora, with nothing but peace and birds chirping. =)

i guess thats what i miss most back there, the peace. nobody and nothing to disturb me, jus me, my laptop and my music. how simple.

as 6pm approaches, the sun is setting and the sky looks even more serene..

Don't Hold Back Your Love by Daryl Hall John Oates is playing in the background.. sounds so meaningful at this very moment. =)

(Page, O'Brien, Tyson)

I know what it's like to be forgotten
Left alone with your simple dreams
But even dreams are fading fast
No one to turn to when you can't sleep at night
Waking up to another day that will soon be over
And if you think that time has forgotten you
Well just look into my eyes
And know the times we'll change

[Chorus:]
Don't hold back your love
I know it's here
I wanna see it come to life before my eyes
Don't hold back your love
Show me your heart
Cause I will always be here by your side

Don't be mistaken there's still some work to do
Gotta get up every single day
Face the judge and jury
No one will notice they've got their own lives
We've got something they all want
It'll be their surprise
And if you think there is no place to run
Just hold onto my hand
And face whatever comes

[Chorus]

One more chance to find the higher ground
One more chance before the curtain's down
One more night to turn your life around again

[Chorus]

boy came back with a bouquet of mini sunflowers. what a sweet surprise. i had never seen mini sunflowers, the total replica of the huge ones, but so much smaller. its so sweet. *smiles*

life is so simple at this very moment. sweet love, peace and serene.

if only everyday is like that, with no troubles, no worries, no sadness and anger.

if only.
