happy new year! i hope all of you enjoyed your new year's celebration! =D

for me, i had my countdown at MartiniFirm at MS. Its an unique bar as its of daybed concept, which means instead of tables and chairs, they had tables and beds. yup, beds, real beds with pillows and bolsters and table in the middle of it.


its a very cosy place, not noisy or filled with those youngsters who only know how to shout and fight to gain attention (of cos, its because it has age limit!)..

the 5 of us had the whole bed to ourselves. we chose the big bed which can fit at least 6-8 people at the back (its quieter) and had a package for 4 which included a bottle of Absolut Vodka, 2 jugs of mixers and champagne. You can choose not to have package and order from menu too, they have lots of different martinis available at a reasonable price. =)

so.. we played cards and drank while waiting for countdown. we were told that fireworks could be seen at the bar we were at, but we did not go out, afraid of the confetti. at 12midnight, we had toasts of champagne! what a great way to celebrate new year! ^^

later, we decided to go dancing only to find out the exorbitant fee of 40 & 30 bucks for guys and girls repectively to enter the club!!! its ridiculous! =.=

and so, we headed back to MartiniFirm, continuing our drinkings. By then, i was dozing off. it was 3plus in the morning (yea yea, i am old rem? no longer a teenager!).. Gary and 2 friends of joy's came over to look for us.. ordered some snacks as joy was hungry and me? i just wanted to have something to do so that i could keep myself awake.

sadly, the orders took a long time to come. by then, i had dozed off. woke up only to eat the pizza. lol. went to find tom at Pump Room after. He was darn high. Jer came a little after us. He was worse. apparently, they get VERY happy when high. =.=

i was struggling to keep awake while waiting for tom to off work. he was supposed to finish work at 530am, but due to nye, he only got to finish at 630am. there were alot of fights there, esp Lunar. all those teens. *rolleyes*

gary and jer went to other places before coming back to find us. jer was the real busy one. he kept disappearing, going to different places to meet up with friends. let's see, it was marina to boat quay to clarke quay (lunar, attica, pump room etc).. busy busy boy.

anyway, i kept awake till 530am and gave up. went home with boy and zzz at 7.. what a night! its been a long time since i had such late night man! only pity was not being able to dance (as all of us had the urge. lol.).. well, it was too exp, considering there isn't any booze included! =.=

the next day was spent zzz and a movie at vivocity. simple. i'm always surprised at my outlook, the way i dress up affect my whole look. lol. those who had gone out with me a few times would know. =X

its a new year. time really flies. so much thoughts when i think back the past one year. so much.
